UAT’s (University of Advancing Technology) Summer 2026 camps kicked off with the Future Innovators camp welcoming a group of young K-8 learners.
Now entering its second inaugural year, the Future Innovators Day Camp is a highly selective, cohort experience designed for K–8 students who are ready to explore technology in a hands-on, age-appropriate way.
This flexible, day-only camp allows UAT faculty and mentors to tailor activities based on participant age groups, ensuring every student is challenged, supported, and inspired throughout the week.
What Students Will Explore
Throughout the week, campers experienced a different area of technology each day, giving them the opportunity to explore, create, and discover new interests through hands-on learning. Here's a look at what they accomplished with the help of UAT's camp partner, GenTech:
With small group sizes, students receive personalized attention while developing confidence, curiosity, and foundational STEM skills — all inside a university environment built for innovation. Not only did the campers get a taste of their future college experience, they embarked on some wind down time playing videos games, air hockey, basketball and even an art exercise.
This is more than a camp — it’s a preview of what’s possible.
The excitement of Future Innovators 2026 may be over, but we're already looking ahead to an even bigger experience in 2027. If you have a student in grades K–8 who loves to build, create, explore, and discover new technology, UAT's Future Innovators Camp is the perfect place to spark that passion.
