You can run, but you can’t hide! At the University of Advancing Technology (UAT), students engage in heated Nerf Warz battles. Whether it's sharp shooters or close-range rapid fire, students play to win and take no mercy on those caught in the crossfire. Seriously, when the foam darts start flying, take cover!
UAT’s campus is full of nooks and crannies that level-up gameplay. The Commons is central to campus and hosts numerous workstations and an extensive technology infrastructure that provides resources designed to foster working in collegial groups. A new hangout spot on campus is the Research and Creation Center (RCC), which is a flexible production space meant to be purposed for anything—even hiding from darts!
You might think hiding in the New Technologies Lab is the move, but this innovation sandbox in encased in glass. With workstations for app development, game development, virtual reality and more, this space is better left to the innovators!
On the opposite side of campus is Founder’s Hall, UAT’s residence hall. This building boasts everything students need to live a comfortable technology-focused life. From the Movie Room and Think Tanks to the Fitness Center and the internet-connected laundry room, the dorms have it all. Beware of sneak attacks from the two-story lounge area!
Did you know that Nerf, a household name for decades, has a history dating back to the 1960s? Originally introduced as the "world's first official indoor ball," Nerf has been a family-favorite staple for projectile sport play. In the early ‘90s, Nerf guns utilizing foam darts were first introduced to the public. Since then, Nerf has since expanded to revolutionize the world of water blasters with the SUPER SOAKER.
For the avid fans at UAT, it's Nerf or nothin’! As students run wild, beware, and be prepared to take cover!
